American Hibiscus Society  

The Lone Star Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society is organized for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes.

Our objective is to encourage and promote the development and improvement of hibiscus,
specifically in the City of Houston, and generally in the State of Texas.

 

Chapter Meetings

Lone Star Chapter Meetings are held at the Garden Center, 1500 Hermann Drive, in Hermann Park on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30p.m.,from March through October.
Visitors are very welcome!

There is a mini show held at each meeting. You may enter a total of three blooms in any category or three in one category. There is no limit on the number of seedlings entered. No prizes, only your name in The Petaloid.

Each meeting concentrates on a speaker, demonstrations or slide shows related to the propagation, grafting, showing and growing of hybrid hibiscus in the Houston area.
Chapter members and outside experts share knowledge and care information. Chapter business information is kept to a minimum.
